Physical activity
Being active is good for your health. Exercise helps you both physically and emotionally.
Physical activity will help you manage your diabetes. It will help lower your blood glucose. It can improve insulin resistance. It can help reduce your weight. It can support your heart and circulation.
Adults should do some physical activity every day. Any activity is good, and the more you do the better.
We should be active for at least 150 minutes each week. We should also reduce the amount of time we spent sitting or not moving about.
